I am "back blogging", taking this opportunity to catch up on past sessions!  This little guy turned one back in February!  I am guess I am not that late! :) I just adore this family and this little guy!  If you want to see how much little ones change in a year, check out his  newborn session  and his sitter session!  I can never get over how fast a year goes between newborn sessions and cake smashes!  I know it is only faster for the parents!  "The days are long and the years are fast" when it comes to your little ones! 

For this little one's theme....we were sure to incorporate some planes in his portrait portion (we had done so in each of his previous sessions too - his name is Jett after all :) but mom (or should I say dad) wanted something different for the smash!  They are big San Jose Shark's fans so the theme was decided!  I have done football, baseball, and soccer sports themed, but never hockey, so this was fun!  I designed a little "ice rink" set and mom provided the net and his jersey and don't forget that cute hat!  Mom started a collection of hats for him as a newborn (to match his sister's bow collection) and she gets all his cute trucker hats from George's Hats , it paired perfectly with his theme! They literally have hats for ANY theme and some super cute beach hats they are just releasing!  Check them out... they have all sizes starting with NEWBORN!  So cool!

For his smash, Jett didn't disappoint!  He loved his cake and made a good mess which I just love.  BUT my FAVORITE part of the session was his milk bath....I really think every baby should do a milk bath....they just all love it so much!  I loved the joy on his face and the splashing and I got to use my new clawfoot tube for the first time during his session WHICH I am obsessed with! I wish I had one in my size!
