I have to start this blog with two words....NO FILTER!  I promise...I did NOTHING to enhance or edit this little guy's eyes....they are that blue and deep....aren't they incredible?...second only to his amazing and almost non-stop smile,  talk about a happy kid!

I first met Joshua and his family for his newborn session just about a year ago....you can see his newborn session here, it also happened to be the first session I ever blogged (although just a few photos)!

Mom wanted a simple, vintage and OUTDOOR cake smash session.....I LOVE outdoor cake smashes, although I must admit...it got a little cool towards the end....LOVE the fall weather!!!  We set up in one of my most favorite places to shoot and it didn't disappoint....we found some great rustic areas to start his "pre-cake" portraits and then headed over to a great trail for his smash....and boy did he love it!  We went simple and vintage for the set up with baby blues...mom had some old toys she brought along as props and we got a perfectly matched ( and delicious) cake from Marissa at Sweet Life Cakery !

Well, enjoy a few of my favorites from my time with this amazing little guy!  I LOVED every minute with this family....and Joshua was so sweet, he even saved some cake for his brother and sister!!!
