With a name like Birdie, you know she is going to be adorable!  I had the privilege of meeting Birdie and her family a little over a year ago when I did her momma's maternity session and then this little one's newborn session!  Her daddy and mommy LOVE the beach and the ocean, her daddy even owns a fishing charter company Guardian Charters if you want to try your hand at some spear fishing!  Birdie's nursery is beach and nautical themed and we even put her in a mermaid outfit during her newborn session so it made perfect sense to do a beach themed cake smash and where better than the beach itself!  We chose Coronado since it was were we did her mommy's maternity session so it was extra special!  Now, you may be thinking that sand and cake don't mix well...and I had my concerns....but this little one was a very well mannered and didn't try to wander away at all keeping the mess nice and contained on our blanket!

I can't even tell you much I swoon over this little girl...she has dimples and rolls for days....my two favorite features on tiny people!  And we got to share a little secret at the end of the session, Birdie is going to be a big sister!  Her momma let us know it's a girl!!!  I can hardly wait!  The world really needs more kiddos like Birdie!  They are such an incredible family!!!!
