I just gotta say it, I LOVE this family!  I have known this family for years and have had the pleasure of photographing this little guy's big brother for both his newborn AND one year session, and two of his cousins newborns and one year sessions too....and all of them are just the kindest, most sincere loving people to be around! Not to mention, this little guy's momma is one of most incredibly talented and sought after wedding photographers around!  Analisa Joy Photography!  It is always an honor to photograph a photographer's family, especially one as talented as Analisa- but we are a good pair, I have NO interest in photographing weddings (too much stress and pressure for me)  and she can't imagine photographing newborns (they are too moody and variable:)) and I do agree, but there is something sooo magical about babies that I love every part of it....and I do believe God has really gifted me to love them in a unique way! 

Desmond, for example, as sweet and angelic as that face is....made me work for each shot!  He didn't want to sleep and then when he did, he was a wiggly baby...constantly stretching and moving around.....I had to be quick with my shutter with this one.

Mom was super flexible with our setups and themes and had only two requests....#1 something with Dr. Seuss and #2 to "try" and get something with big brother Bryer....well that is easier said than done with a two year old as active as Bryer....and let me tell you, we were not above bribing...we managed a shot or two...but I really had hoped for more....Bryer is one of the cutest and most photogenic little kids anywhere...but, wow...does not like to sit on set!

For the Dr. Seuss shot, we got some great cooperation from Desmond...I LOVE how they turned out....the set up was easy to transition in some other props that I got just for Analisa's session - a mini, mini Macbook and a mini camera for the future AJP employee!  

Well, I hope you love this session as much as I loved capturing Desmond and spending time with this amazing family!
