I know the value of family photos.  I know how important they are to have. And I also know how hard it can be to get them done.  But you do it, you get them scheduled and the day arrives.  You have been planning your outfits, maybe  you get your hair done, make-up etc...If you have little ones, you had to pack your bag with the "what if we need it" stuff....it can feel like a stressful rush to make it out the door to get there in time....but you do arrive, maybe flustered because you are late or frustrated if you couldn't find parking or stressed about the kids not having napped...there are a lot of things that can go "wrong" and often things do...but my hope and desire during our time together during a shoot is that you are able to shake all that off and that you can be present and in the moment and make memories with your family. Memories that will last a lifetime, memories that I am there to capture and that at the end of it all, you have had fun and that you leave feeling blessed and excited about the people you get to do life with.  

This session reminded me of that...just getting there posed some challenges this day for this family, but in the end, we both left better for having spent time together, remembering the important things in life and that in the end, all that really matters is family and the most important thing to bring with you to our session together is love.
