One of my favorite things about doing what I do is being able to create my sets.  Whenever I am shopping I am always looking at things wondering if I can use them in a photoshoot somehow....will it work for decor?, as a prop?, can I fit a baby in it?...seriously, I am THEE most distracted shopper ever...I enter time warps when I enter a store because I have to look at everything!  That being said, when this little beauty's mom told me she was doing a Teddy Bear Tea Party theme for her birthday and that she was serving Strawberry Shortcake, I had some great ideas and I had just the right things to pull it all together!

We started with a little Teddy Bear tea party....she was adorable and enjoyed her tea and company....although, she really did enjoy banging the dishes together making music more than anything else....not gonna lie, we had a few broken dishes in the end, but it was worth it!

For the cake portion, we went with a natural, rustic set with a simple "naked" cake from the amazing Sweet Like Cakery!  And we ended the session with a Milk Bath where we pulled in the idea of Strawberries from her birthday party once again!

I LOVE milk baths and traditionally we do them with flowers or greenery so I LOVED the idea of using fruit instead...and I LOVE how it turned out...possibly one of my favorite milk baths ever!  I would love to try lemons sometime too, I think that would look amazing for a summertime outdoor session?!  Who's game?!
