I am not a writer so blogging is really hard for me....I start to feel redundant when I share about my sessions because I tend to say the same things over and over again.  "I have the cutest clients".  " I love getting to watch them grow". "This little one was so sweet!".  Well, here I go again....because it's all true and it is every time I say it!

This family is special to me....maybe because I knew them before they were an actual "family", I knew this little guy's mom and dad when they were just dating in high school and it has been incredible to watch them grow as a couple and to start their family together!  My first session with them was this guy's big brother, Bryer - both his newborn and one year!  Then this guy's newborn session, a family Christmas session and now this guy's One Year - I feel so blessed to be able to capture these milestone's for this family considering this little guy's momma is a pretty amazing wedding photographer - Analisa Joy Photography!  If you find yourself reading this and needing a wedding photographer or even maternity or family photographer!  She is incredible!  

As a creative professional herself, I loved that she had some fun ideas for Desmond's session!  His nickname has been Dez which turned into Dezzy Doodle....(probably not spelled correctly) so she thought it would be fun to let him "doodle" so a paint session was the perfect idea!  Bright, colorful and a chance to doodle!  BUT on a more traditional note, dad really did want a cake...so, we did BOTH! And with twice the mess, we really needed that bath at the end!

He was so much fun to photograph!  So many smiles and so much fun!
