I think when most people think of my and my work they think of newborn and cake smashes, which is great because that IS what I specialize in!  BUT I do shoot other types of sessions as well.  I have done my fair share of high school seniors (how I started actually) and business headshots.   I've done event photography (not my thing) and I've even done a few weddings (DEFINITELY not my thing!) But besides those anomalies the most common "other type" of session I do is families!  In most cases my family sessions are previous newborn or cake smash session clients OR in this case a referral from a previous newborn/cake smash client. ALSO most of my family sessions fall in the later part of the year (due to Christmas cards) but I LOVED that we got to do this session in the spring because we had some great flowers to work with!  Truth be told, you don't need a 'reason' to get a photo shoot done. Being a family is reason enough to celebrate!

This family was so much fun!  Mom was super happy with relaxed and casual poses just capturing their interaction which always makes the sessions so much fun!  AND there were THREE kiddos...hard to wrangle and keep them all "looking"! We had some great variety and interaction, it was a lot of fun!
