Well it wasn't long after this session that the newest member of their family arrived!  As I write this, I have already done their newborn session AND their little man is approaching the ONE year mark and we have a "date" set for his session! (Assuming the Stay at Home oder lifts soon!)

I just adore this family!  I have had the pleasure to work with them a few times now and their little girl is just the sweetest little thing with such a big heart!  They all love each other so much and it is evident in the way the interact with each other, so much patience and tenderness!

With maternity sessions, the goal is (of course) to capture the belly! (It is really quite miraculous how our bodies change during pregnancy!)  BUT in addition to the bump, I LOVE to capture the growing family and the love between the expectant parents.  I know (generally) a lot of moms don't feel "pretty" during pregnancy - especially in the last trimester, but it really is something important to capture and for all you moms out there reading this right now thinking "you don't like yourself in photos" -  you need to "get over yourself" and allow these photos of yourself!  Your kids will appreciate seeing these and will feel loved and cherished when they see their "whole" story documented!
