At just 4 weeks old, this sweet baby girl came into the studio for her first portrait session—and although this timing is a bit beyond the traditional newborn window, we captured some absolutely stunning images that her family will cherish forever.

Typically, the ideal age for newborn photography is between 5–14 days old. During that window, babies are sleepier and easier to pose in those dreamy, curled-up positions. But don’t worry—older newborns bring their own kind of magic to the session! At 4 weeks, this little one was more alert and expressive, giving us beautiful eye contact, subtle smiles, and sweet stretches that added so much personality to her gallery.

We styled the session in soft pinks, creams, and delicate florals, wrapping her in cozy textures and placing her in a variety of charming setups—from snuggled in a tiny white bed to a rustic hanging basket surrounded by blossoms. Whether she was wide-eyed or peacefully snoozing, she looked like an absolute angel in every frame.
