A Variety of Timeless Looks
One of the things we love most about newborn photography is creating a gallery with plenty of variety while still keeping everything cohesive.
For this session, we combined several different looks:
- A sweet blush pink tutu with a delicate floral headband for an elegant, classic portrait.
- Soft cream wraps and knitted textures that highlight just how tiny newborns are.
- A cozy wooden bucket setup featuring an adorable little lamb bonnet for a touch of rustic charm.
- A beautiful floral nest surrounded by blush blossoms, creating a soft, romantic feel.
- Delicate neutral knitwear paired with cherry blossom branches for an organic, timeless finish.
Each setup complements the next while giving the family an album full of unique images they'll treasure for years to come.
Every Tiny Detail Matters
Newborns change incredibly fast. Tiny fingers, curled toes, wispy hair, sleepy expressions, and those perfectly squishy cheeks begin changing almost immediately.
Our goal during every newborn session is to preserve these little details before they're gone.
We carefully pose each baby using safe, baby-led techniques while creating a calm, warm environment where little ones can stay comfortable throughout the session. Every pose is done with patience, allowing baby to remain sleepy and relaxed whenever possible.
Designed for Parents to Relax
Many parents arrive expecting a stressful experience. Instead, they often leave saying it was one of the most relaxing parts of their newborn journey.
Our Ramona studio is fully stocked with wraps, bonnets, headbands, blankets, buckets, bowls, outfits, and carefully selected props. Parents simply arrive with their baby while we take care of everything else.
Sessions move at baby's pace with plenty of time for feeding, soothing, cuddling, and breaks whenever needed.
When Should You Schedule a Newborn Session?
The ideal time for newborn photography is within the first 5 to 21 days after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and still love those beautifully curled poses.
Because due dates can be unpredictable, we recommend reserving your session during your second trimester. Once baby arrives, we'll finalize your session date.
