Well, let's just say when I met this family and saw their little guy, I squealed a little!  LOOK AT THAT HAIR! LOOK AT THAT FACE! LOOK AT THOSE CHEEKS! LOOK AT THOSE ROLLS! And that smile?! Melted my heart!  

Mom had contacted me for a family session but really wanted some images of their four month old too....not gonna lie, four months is a tough age to capture.  They don't have much neck strength and they can't sit up on their own - so posing is limited AND they don't have much endurance for a session so you have to move quick!  Also, mom wanted to shoot early morning (his happy time) AND she wanted to shoot at the complex where they live.  So three interesting things going on for me here... Combing a baby only session with a family session, in the morning, at an unfamiliar location! I was a bit out of my comfort zone!

Well needless to say as you look at the photos, the location was gorgeous and we got some solid cooperation from the cutest little guy ever (well, at least in the beginning) and as he did tire and fizzle out....no tears, just no more smiles, which was still pretty adorable!  These family photos are definitely not my "norm" but I loved being able to capture images for this family that are unique and special to them and captures them in an environment that is meaningful and important to them!
